Hello Parents!
There are lots of great reading practice worksheets coming home this week. Please have your child read through sheets for fluency practice. Please consider helping your child find/decorate a shoe box to collect all readers that are sent home once a week to review. (Jack the Cat is today's story). It is ideal to have your child read (or be read to) 20 minutes every day to build language skills. Book Fair: Joan Eibensteiner is gathering a team volunteers to help out at our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair, & would like to invite you to help out by cashiering at the book fair. It really is easy and fun! Please take a moment to view our sign-up sheet. Spread the word to your friends and invite them to help us have the best Book Fair ever! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080f45a9a623a46-albany4 If you need to contact me, please use the email address below. Thank you! [email protected] HOMECOMING NOTES: Homecoming tailgate party from 5:30 to Game time on Friday, October 6 in the West parking lot behind the football bleachers.
