Seasons Greetings!
I recently completed Calm Classroom Academy. It is a new program committed to cultivating peaceful, engaged classrooms by empowering students and teachers with mindfulness skills that support mental and emotional wellbeing. This week, we did 3 very short, mini mindfulness exercises everyday. This afternoon, students made a poster to help remind them to be calm throughout the busy break. Ask them about it! They are practicing feeling their breath & noticing how they feel. Breathe in: I Breathe out: Am Calm Here's a short video about mindfulness and making positive choices.
